Postdoc position in Catalytic oxidation of organic compounds by metal/metal-oxide nanoparticles

University of Crete - Ηράκλειο

Candidates should possess a PhD degree in Organic Chemistry. A strong background in organic synthesis and organic transformations catalyzed by heterogeneous metal (Au, Ag, Cu, Fe) catalysts is of advantage. Successful applicants will work in performing catalytic experiments, studying catalysis and publishing results. He/she will examine the catalytic activity of metal oxide nanoparticles and mesoporous transition metal oxide materials in oxidative transformation of organic compounds.
The project is co-financed by the European Union (European Social Fund - ESF) and Greek national funds through the Operational Program "Education and Lifelong Learning" of the National Strategic Reference Framework (NSRF)
