The Foundation for Research and Technology, Hellas (FORTH - Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology), announces an opening for a Graduate position as part of the funded research programme titled "Development of Interdisciplinary Research Activities towards System Biology (BIOSYS)". The project is funded through the call for proposals "Ανταγωνιστικότητα και Επιχειρηματικότητα και Περιφερειών σε Μετάβαση" (ΕΣΠΑ 2007-2013) and specifically for the Greek national actions for «ΑΝΑΠΤΥΞΙΑΚΕΣ ΠΡΟΤΑΣΕΙΣ ΕΡΕΥΝΗΤΙΚΩΝ ΦΟΡΕΩΝ - ΚΡΗΠΙΣ». The laboratory solicits applications to scientists that fulfill the requirements below to apply for the position.
Description The object of the position is the publicity and exploitation of the scientific results of the project, the procedures of dissemination, training, communication and relay of the technological infrastructures of the collaborating institutes (writing articles for the dissemination of the scientific results, technological reports and business plans, scientific editing of the publication material)
Excellent command of the English and Greek language is required
Qualifications Weight
University degree on Life Sciences (Biology, Medicine, Pharmacology, etc) or Physical Sciences (Physics, Chemistry, Material Sciences etc.). A post-graduate degree in a related field and/or employment or experience in related works or project will be a plus. 35
%Use of Office computer software (such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and competence in accessing and processing scientific and technological data (biological data bases, patent searches etc.) 30
%Participation in research projects, excellent presentation, communication and writing skills (both in Greek and English), experience in interdisciplinary scientific work efficiency in organizing work and ability to take initiatives. 35
%Contract Duration: The specific contract duration is up to six months. Estimated beginning of the contract: April 2015.
Monthly compensation: 2.400 € including taxes/ insurance/VAT

Applicants scoring less than 50% of total evaluation are not going to be considered for filling this vacancy.
