Catalytic applications of mesoporous polynuclear transition-metal organic frameworks (PTMOFs)

University of Crete - Ηράκλειο

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent diploma in Chemistry and a Master degree in Organic Chemistry. A strong background in organic reactions catalyzed by heterogeneous metal (Au, Ag, Cu, Fe) catalysts is of advantage. Successful applicants will work in performing catalytic experiments, studying catalysis and publishing results. He/she will examine the catalytic activity of polynuclear transition-metal (PTM) complexes and mesoporous PTM-organic frameworks (PTMOFs) in oxidative transformation of organic compounds.
Net monthly amount: 1.371,42€
Duration: Approximately 7 months
The project is co-financed by the European Union (European Social Fund - ESF) and Greek national funds through the Operational Program "Education and Lifelong Learning" of the National Strategic Reference Framework (NSRF)
Description Deliverables:
- Scientific report
- Catalytic data (Deliverables D2.1: Results of catalytic activity of PTMs and D2.2: Results of catalytic activity of PTMOFs)
